The Neponset River Greenway Revisited: Dorchester and Milton.

I first began exploring this river last year and readily determined that it is worthy of greater recognition.

The Neponset River Greenway is a work in progress with some significant completed sections.

It is a particularly valuable bikeway for this part of Boston.

I started at the Butler T stop as I did last year but headed west toward Milton.

The upstream section is defined by the dam and a small manufacturing cradle with the trolley running along the southern bank.

An early chocolate company was among the flock of manufacturing endeavors that settled along the riverbank.

This section ends at the Central Ave Bridge.
