Charles River Link Trail Natick and Dover.

The Charles River Link Trail leaves the quiet semi rural South Natick roadways at Pegan Hill.

From there it passes through Mumford Wildlife Forest, a lush wetland forest at the edge of farm fields.

From there, the trail crosses into Dover where it passes through Peters Reservation and Chase Woodlands.

It once again meets the Charles River in Peters Reservation after passing through extensive forest tracts.

The river is reached by a side trail and teems with activity in spring.

The trail heads southerly and crosses Farm Road to pass into Chase Woodlands.

It passes through wetlands before rising a bit to meet upland forests.

From there it descends again to meet Medfield for the last leg to the Bay Circuit Trail.
