Burrage Pond Hanson MA
Hanson is a fascinating satellite town of the city of Brockton mainly located a bit below the moraine line that the Bay Circuit Trail skirts in northern Plymouth County.
The trail phases into Hanson from the West Bridgewater edge at the Smith-Nawazelski Conservation Area, which is located conveniently across the street from The Burrage Pond Wildlife Management Area.
The route from Burrage to the next sizable parcel, Veterans Memorial Forest, largely follows the street or is under negotiation, as is the last segment at Camp Kiwanee adjacent to the Pembroke border.
The western edge of Veterans Memorial Forest rests along the eastern shore of Wompatuck Pond.
